!T.O.O.H.! is a Czech progressive death metal and grindcore duo formed in 1990 in Libice nad Cidlinou under the name Devastator, later changing their name in 1993. The two-piece outfit — consisting of Schizoid on drums and vocals and Humanoid on bass, guitars, and programming — blends death metal, grindcore, and folk-tinged progressive elements into a singular, difficult-to-classify sound. Their discography spans six albums, from the 1999 debut From Higher Will through the politically-charged Svoboda slova in 2020, with lyrics evolving from early gore themes toward social and political commentary. They remain one of the more idiosyncratic acts to emerge from the Czech extreme metal underground.

The group disbanded and reformed under various names before fully reconstituting as ...And Oceans in 2020, releasing Cosmic World Mother and the 2023 follow-up As in Gardens, So in Tombs, continuing their experimental evolution.
1349 is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Oslo in 1997, taking their name from the year the Black Death reached Norway. The quartet plays an uncompromising, speed-driven style of black metal indebted to the second-wave Norwegian tradition, releasing their debut Liberation in 2003 on Toten Musik and following it with Hellfire in 2005, which became one of the most ferociously performed black metal albums of that era. They have released eight studio albums in total, including The Infernal Pathway in 2019 and The Wolf and the King in 2024, maintaining a consistently raw and aggressive approach across their career.
