UK heavy metal revivalists Tailgunner proudly carry the banner of the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal, channeling the spirit of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Motorhead into their galloping, riff-driven sound. Founded by bassist Tom Hewson and named after the Iron Maiden song, the band released their debut 'Guns for Hire' in 2023 before signing to Napalm Records for 2026's 'Midnight Blitz,' produced by legendary guitarist K.K. Downing of Judas Priest. Their rapid ascent through the European metal festival circuit reflects a genuine hunger for traditional heavy metal craftsmanship.
