Vienna, AT · 1995–present · active
A Viennese black metal band founded in 1993, Trifixion were part of the founding nucleus of the Austrian Black Metal Syndicate alongside Abigor, Golden Dawn, Pazuzu, and Summoning — whose original 1993 lineup included Trifixion's Alexander Trondl on drums and vocals. After contributing to Summoning's early demos and their 1995 debut "Lugburz," Trondl departed to pursue electronic music under the Vienna Subs project.

Trigger the Apocalypse is a thrash metal band from Nottingham, formed in 2022. Their apocalyptically-named outfit delivers fierce thrash from the East Midlands with the urgency their name demands.
Lier, BE · 1998–present · active
Belgian rock trio Triggerfinger have been one of the biggest bands in the Benelux region since forming in Lier in 1998, delivering hard-hitting rock that draws comparisons to Queens of the Stone Age, Masters of Reality, and Led Zeppelin. Their acoustic cover of Lykke Li's 'I Follow Rivers' reached number one across multiple European countries in 2012, earning them four Belgian Music Industry Awards including Hit of the Year. The band's fearsome live reputation reached its peak when they supported the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park in 2013, cementing Ruben Block and company as one of Europe's premier rock acts.

Annemasse, FR · 2023–present · active
Triglöth from Annemasse near the Swiss border deliver stoner and groove metal with the three-headed, mythological menace their name suggests since 2023. Their Haute-Savoie base at the foot of the Alps provides mountain-weight backing for their fuzz-driven grooves.
BA · 2024–present · active
Trijumf are a Bosnian black metal band whose 2024 debut album Trijumf ili Smrt – Trijumf, released on Death Prayer Records, directly confronts the history of the Bosnian War. The record's four extended tracks — including '1425 dana,' referencing the 1,425-day siege of Sarajevo — combine raw, melodic black metal with an overtly pagan and patriotic sensibility.
Reuver, NL · 2017–present · active
Reuver's Trillium craft symphonic metal that marries orchestral arrangements with heavy guitar work, creating a sound of cinematic grandeur from the quiet Limburg countryside since 2017. Their name — borrowed from the delicate woodland flower — contrasts with their music's dramatic power.
Plovdiv, BG · 2021–present · active
Avant-garde black/death metal band from Plovdiv, Bulgaria—a city whose ancient Roman name, Trimontium, the band has adopted. Their 2021 demo, a four-track release, introduced their unconventional approach to extreme metal that blends black and death metal structures with more experimental and dissonant elements. Operating out of Bulgaria's second-largest city and former European Capital of Culture, they occupy a distinctive niche in the country's underground.
NO · 2005–present · active
Trinacria emerged in 2005 from a collaboration between Ivar Bjørnson of Enslaved and noise artists Maja S.K. Ratkje and Hild Sofie Tafjord of Fe-mail, originally commissioned by Rikskonsertene as a concert piece. The project merges Norwegian black metal architecture with avant-garde noise composition and free improvisation, placing it at an unusual intersection of extreme metal and the contemporary classical underground. Their debut full-length Travel Now Journey Infinitely documents this volatile synthesis.
