Greenland is a Viking/black metal band from Chalons-en-Champagne, France, active since 2007. They channel Norse Viking themes through black metal from the Champagne region, merging Scandinavian mythology with French extreme metal sensibility.

Founded in Borlänge, Sweden in 1999 as a side project by Dozer guitarist Tommi Holappa, Demon Cleaner's Karl Daniel Lidén, and Lowrider vocalist Peder Bergstrand, Greenleaf began as an informal outlet for 1970s hard rock and proto-metal influences free from the pressures of their main bands. The project gradually evolved into a full touring act with Holappa as the sole original member, releasing eight studio albums including Revolution Rock (2001), Agents of Ahriman (2007), and Nest of Vipers (2012). Their consistent output has made them a reliable presence in the European stoner rock scene for over two decades.
