Dea Artio is an atmospheric black metal project from Sankt Georgen an der Gusen in Upper Austria, founded in 2020 and named for the Celtic bear goddess. Albums Waldwacht (2021), Nebelfelder (2021), and Zurück in die Waldwacht (2022) translate their self-described inspiration of "ancient forests, misty mountains and the occult mixed with traditions" into dense, immersive black metal.
