Saor is a Scottish atmospheric black metal project formed by Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist Andy Marshall in 2013, rooted in the landscapes, history, and poetry of the Scottish Highlands. Marshall describes his music as 'Caledonian metal,' weaving Celtic folk melodies and traditional instrumentation into expansive black metal compositions without leaning on genre conventions.
