Zetra
Zetra is a London duo formed in 2018 by Adam and Jordan, blending gothic metal heaviness with shoegaze atmospherics and 80s-inspired synth-pop. The pair self-released several EPs and cassettes before signing to Nuclear Blast Records in 2023, releasing their self-titled debut album in September 2024. Metal Hammer described their sound as "an icy, enveloping mix of 80s-inspired synth-pop, goth-metal heaviness and atmospheric dream-pop, capped with hazy vocals of indeterminate gender(s)." They represent one of the more distinctive entries in the revived gothic rock and metal underground of the 2020s.
