Wolfbrigade
Originally formed as Wolfpack in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1995, the band renamed themselves Wolfbrigade in 2000 to distance themselves from a neo-Nazi prison gang that shared the name. Founded by veterans of the Swedish death metal scene, they merged d-beat rhythms, crust punk urgency, and melodic death metal heaviness into a volatile and influential hybrid. Releases including Prey to the World (2007), Damned (2012), and Run with the Hunted (2017) on Metal Blade Records established them as one of the most durable and respected acts at the intersection of crust and death metal.
