Windir
Melodic black, folk, and Viking metal band from Sogndal, Norway founded in 1994 by the late Valfar (Terje Bakken). Windir blended Sogndal's dramatic fjord landscapes with black metal, folk melodies, and Viking themes, creating a beloved legacy that endures despite Valfar's tragic death in 2004.
