Vampyromorpha is a heavy/doom metal duo from Würzburg, Germany, founded in 2014 by Nemes Black and Jim Grant, who describes their work as "adult oriented doom metal" with Hammond organ. Across releases from their 2015 self-titled debut to 2019's "Herzog," they draw on disturbing horror cinema, dark storytelling, and themes of mental anguish.
