Iconic Norwegian band from Oslo, evolving dramatically from early black and folk metal through ambient, avant-garde, and electronica to new wave and synthpop since 1998. Their artistic metamorphosis from the raw extremity of Bergtatt to the sophisticated electronic soundscapes of later work makes them one of the most adventurous acts in music history.
