Berlare black metal band Toorn — whose name is Dutch for 'wrath' — formed in 2007 in East Flanders and developed an atmospheric, melancholic sound drawing comparisons to Agalloch, Novembre, and Katatonia. Their two self-released albums, Galgenberg and Kronieken van het Einde, center on local mythology and history, with distribution handled through Blood Music.
