The Rogers
Early Belgian heavy metal outfit The Rogers formed in 1980 in Kapellen, with brothers Patrick and Werner Van Camp in the lineup, and released the 1982 single Metal King on Iron Records — among the earliest heavy metal recordings to come out of Antwerp. The band's name is derived from the aviation term 'roger-over' and they eventually split, leaving Metal King as their primary document.
