Occult black metal band formed in early 2022 by members of Swiss/Norwegian acts including Aara, Forgotten Tomb, Porta Nigra, and Thron, with the band's name meaning 'sorcery' in Proto-Germanic. Their debut album Therizo—released October 13, 2023 on Debemur Morti Productions—delivers 41 minutes of old-school second-wave black metal rooted in the Norwegian tradition but laced with the melodic atmosphere of the Swiss Alpine scene. Recorded across Norway and Switzerland and mixed at The Empty Hall Studio, Therizo was widely praised as a mandatory entry in contemporary occult black metal.
