Tanelorn
Heavy metal band from Zürich, formed in 1992 and named after the mythical city of peace in Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion stories. Between 1994 and 1999 they produced two albums and built a reputation as a formidable live act, earning support slots with Blind Guardian, Savatage, King Diamond, and W.A.S.P. The departure of founding members around the turn of the millennium brought a difficult chapter, though the band maintained a presence in the Swiss metal underground.
