Syrach
Bergen, Norway's Syrach formed in 1993, developing a heavy and crushing strain of death-doom metal characterized by down-tuned riffs, hypnotic drumming, and raw vocals. The band signed to Napalm Records and released albums including A Dark Burial and Days of Wrath (2007), establishing them as a consistent force in the Norwegian doom underground. Their lyrical content gravitates toward themes of death, evil, and anti-Christianity, and the band has been inactive in recent years.
