Founded in Salzburg in 2011, Sativa Root play entirely instrumental psychedelic stoner/doom metal, releasing three full-lengths including "Megalobong" and the 2023 album "Kings of the Weed Age," a six-track, 54-minute record recorded and mixed by Georg Traschwandtner. Their hypnotic approach forgoes vocals entirely, letting massive, slowly unfurling riffs and dynamic shifts carry the weight of each piece.
