Sarcator
Sarcator is a blackened thrash metal band from Trollhättan, Sweden, formed in 2018, whose name fuses the names of Brazilian extremists Sarcófago and German thrash icons Kreator to signal their primary influences. The band is anchored by lead guitarist and vocalist Mateo Tervonen, son of The Crown guitarist Marko Tervonen, who was barely nineteen when the band entered the spotlight. After a pair of raw EPs in 2019, Sarcator released their self-titled debut full-length in 2020, followed by Alkahest, which secured them a deal with Century Media Records, and Swarming Angels & Flies in January 2025.
