Rest in Fear
Graz-based melodic death metal sextet founded in 2007, Rest in Fear gained significant recognition as semifinalists at the Austrian Band Contest 2011, main-stage openers at MetalDays 2014, and nominees at the 2015 Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Hard & Heavy category. Their two albums, Insert Yourself (2011) and Shallows Deep (2014, G Minor Records), blend catchy keyboard and guitar hooklines with fast-paced death metal aggression.
