Old Man's Child
Old Man's Child is a Norwegian symphonic black metal project founded in 1993 in Oslo by guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Galder, who has remained its sole permanent member throughout its existence. The band's debut Born of the Flickering arrived in 1996, followed by a string of Century Media releases through the 2000s including The Pagan Prosperity (1997), Revelation 666 (2000), In Defiance of Existence (2003), and Vermin (2005). Galder, who also served as a guitarist for Dimmu Borgir from 2002 to 2024, reactivated the project in 2019 to record new material after a decade-long hiatus.
