Naglfar
Founded in Umeå, Sweden in 1992 under the name Uninterred before adopting the Norse mythology-derived name Naglfar, the band released their debut album Vittra in 1995 and quickly became a key act in Swedish melodic black metal. Signed to Century Media Records, their mid-career albums Sheol (2003) and Harvest (2007) refined a style that pairs black metal aggression with melodic riffing and precision. Their most recent album Cerecloth (2020) demonstrated continued vitality nearly three decades into their career.
