Molten Chains
Molten Chains are a blackened heavy/thrash metal band based in Vienna, Austria, formed in 2017 by Australian-born guitarist and vocalist Brenton Weir. The band has released three albums — 'In the Antechamber Below' (2019), 'Torment Enshrined' (2020), and 'Orisons of Vengeance' (2022) on Alone Records — and have been covered by Decibel Magazine for their work blurring the lines between heavy, black, and avant-garde metal. Despite the black metal imagery, their sound lands closer to blackened thrash than orthodox black metal.
