Knasterbart is a German folk collective founded in 2012 by Malte Hoyer of the band Versengold, drawing additional members from Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen. The group's self-described "Gossen Folklore" blends medieval festival music with crude humor, drinking themes, and a deliberate lack of seriousness, and they are a fixture on the German medieval and open-air festival circuit. Their catalog includes Finsterwacht, Superknasterbart (2016), and Perlen vor die Säue (2019, Napalm Records).
