In Slumber are a melodic death metal band from Linz, Upper Austria, founded in 2003 by multi-instrumentalist Wolfgang Rothbauer, who has remained the band's constant creative force across multiple hiatuses. After a thirteen-year gap, they returned with While We Sleep (War Anthem Records, 2022), a nine-track album mixing brutal death metal aggression with introspective melodic leads and themes of dreams and the subconscious.
