Heaven Shall Burn
Jena, Germany's Heaven Shall Burn formed in 1995 and have spent three decades as one of the most consistent and politically engaged acts at the intersection of metalcore and melodic death metal. Their catalog of ten studio albums, including the Iconoclast trilogy (2008–2010) and Of Truth and Sacrifice (2020), has repeatedly charted inside the German Top 25 and placed the band among Europe's leading heavy exports. Their lyrics address anti-fascism, animal rights, and systemic inequality with a directness that sets them apart from most of their contemporaries.
