Hang The Bastard
Formed in London, England in 2007, Hang the Bastard operated at the intersection of sludge metal, doom, and metalcore, releasing Hellfire Reign (2010) and Sex in the Seventh Circle (2014) on Century Media Records. Their churning, downtuned riffs and hardcore-inflected aggression placed them alongside the British heavy underground scene of the late 2000s. The band disbanded in 2016 following a farewell performance at the Damnation Festival but subsequently reunited.
