Grimthorn is a long-running one-man black metal project from Lower Austria, active since 1999 under Count Grimthorn, who handles all instruments and vocals. Their output includes the 2000 demo Grimthorn's Forest, a 2001 split with Uruk-Hai on CCP Records, the 2006 cassette Ein Tribut an vergangene Tage, and more recently the 2025 promo Black Hole, with themes orbiting darkness, nature, and cosmic solitude.
