Grave Pleasures
Formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2010 as Beastmilk, the band released the acclaimed debut album Climax before reconstituting as Grave Pleasures in March 2015 following a significant lineup shift. Led by vocalist Mat McNerney, their sound melds post-punk rhythms, death rock atmosphere, and gothic hooks into a danceable but macabre framework. Dreamcrash (2015) on Metal Blade, Motherblood (2017) on Profound Lore, and Plagueboys (2023) have each refined their formula of apocalyptic melody and punk immediacy.
