Fortytwo is a melodic death metal band from Alesund on Norway's western coast, active since 2003. Named after the answer to the ultimate question in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, they bring melodic death metal from a city famous for its Art Nouveau architecture and dramatic coastal setting.
