Forgotten Tomb is a pioneering Italian black metal band from Piacenza, founded in 1999 and recognized as one of the true originators of depressive black metal (DSBM). From the genre-defining Songs to Leave and Springtime Depression through later releases incorporating rock, sludge, and punk influences, the project has continually evolved while maintaining its nihilistic core.
