Forcedown was a groove metal and metalcore band formed in 2002, with members split between Gmünd, Lower Austria and Ceske Velenice, Czech Republic. Drawing on Swedish melodic metal and hardcore influences, they released the eight-track album "The Immortality of Words" before disbanding.
