Folterkammer — German for "torture chamber" — is an avant-garde black metal project centered on the four-octave operatic soprano voice of Andromeda Anarchia, who pairs her classical coloratura training with feral black metal screams singing entirely in German. Signed to Century Media Records, their albums "Die Lederpredigt" (Gilead Media, 2020) and "Weibermacht" (Century Media, 2024) fuse Baroque composition, black metal riffing, and explicitly provocative lyrical themes.
