Faurutan is a black metal duo from Taranto in southern Italy, consisting of Dan Werewolf on vocals, drums, and synth and Dissected on guitar. Their 2020 release Drawn Into The Darkness delivers five tracks of raw, lo-fi black metal with death metal undercurrents, representing the extreme metal underground of Italy's deep south.
