Falkenbach is a pioneering viking/black/folk metal project from Düsseldorf, Germany, led by Vratyas Vakyas and active for more than two decades since the mid-1990s. Described as a trailblazer and prime mover of pagan metal, the project blends epic heroism, Germanic mythology, and Norse-tinged folklore with metallic aggression across albums like "...en their medh riki fara...," "Ok nefna tysvar Ty," "Heralding — The Fireblade," and "Asa."
