Fade to Black is a symphonic/gothic metal band from Ohrid, North Macedonia, formed in 1990 — making them one of the oldest metal acts in the Balkans. Reuniting in 2009 after disbanding in 1991, they have since released additional albums including Black Is Back and Land of Plenty, anchored by the dramatic backdrop of their lakeside UNESCO heritage city.
