Eye of Melian is a Dutch symphonic and neoclassical metal project founded around 2021 by Delain and Within Temptation keyboardist and composer Martijn Westerholt, alongside American lyricist Robin La Joy. The project features Finnish vocalist Johanna Kurkela (Auri) and orchestral arranger Mikko P. Mustonen, with guest appearances from Troy Donockley (Nightwish) on the debut album Legends of Light (2022) on Napalm Records. Their follow-up Forest of Forgetting (2026), also on Napalm Records, continued the project's focus on lush, Tolkien-influenced fantasy orchestration.
