Dudsekop
Formed in West Flanders in 2021 by King Hiss guitarist Josh Fury alongside drummer Bert Guillemont (ex-Liar), Dudsekop draw on the lineage of Congress, King Hiss, and Liar to produce West Flemish black metal sung entirely in the local Ypres dialect. Their 2022 debut Liksems, released on Genet Records, pairs razor-sharp riffing with barked bilingual vocals and a self-described identity as 'West-Vlamse koavezworte metal' — West Flemish pitch-black metal.
