Dismal Euphony is a pioneering Norwegian symphonic/melodic black metal act from Stavanger, active since 1996 and among the early architects of the symphonic black metal sound. Their later evolution toward gothic metal expanded their palette while maintaining the dark melodicism that defined their influential early work.
