Discharge
Discharge is the legendary hardcore punk and D-beat band from Stoke-on-Trent, founded in 1977 by Terence "Tezz" Roberts and Royston "Rainy" Wainwright, widely credited as pioneers of the D-beat subgenre. Their later output incorporated heavy and thrash metal elements, and the band remain active with European touring dates into 2026 and releases including War Is Hell and Disensitise.
