Deuteronomy is a blackened death metal project from Thessaloniki, Greece, built around multi-instrumentalist Leonidas with session vocalists and drummers from international collaborators. Their 2020 album The Last Roman explores the Byzantine Empire's military campaigns under Emperor Justinian I across ten tracks of intense, historically themed extreme metal.
