Dargaard is a neoclassical darkwave project from Mistelbach, Lower Austria, founded in 1997 by Tharen, formerly of black metal acts Abigor and Amestigon. The band pairs Elisabeth Toriser's vocals with keyboard-driven medieval and folk arrangements across albums including Eternity Rites (1998), In Nomine Aeternitatis (2000), and Rise and Fall (2004), accumulating well over two million scrobbles on Last.fm.
