D. Throne was a thrash metal band formed in Sarajevo in 1991, emerging in the shadow of Bombarder and Parasite — the city's first metal generation. Performing and recording through the Bosnian War years, the band documented the siege-era experience in songs like Story from Sarajevo, which appeared on the Radio Zid compilation Rock Under the Siege in 1995.
