Avowal is a progressive black and death metal band from Mannheim, Germany, formed in 2019, whose 2020 EP Transformation delivers three tracks of intensely dissonant metal described as stankface-inducing ugliness. The band is equally known for their handcrafted physical releases, including custom USB boxes containing hourglasses filled with dried blood, released through Total Dissonance Worship.
