Asinhell is a death metal band formed in 2022 by Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen alongside vocalist Marc Grewe (ex-Morgoth) and drummer Morten Toft Hansen (Raunchy). The project draws openly on old-school death metal influences and Poulsen's long-standing affinity for the genre before his career in Volbeat. Their debut album Impii Hora was released in September 2023 via Metal Blade Records, comprising ten tracks rooted in classic death and thrash metal.
