Ashtar
Ashtar are a Basel duo formed in 2012 by Marko and Nadine Lehtinen, both veterans of the Swiss doom acts Phased and shEver, crafting a haunting hybrid of black metal, sludge, and doom built on down-tuned riffs, heavy bass, and layered, dissonant melodies. Signed to Northern Fog Records, they have released four albums — "Ilmasaari" (2015), "Kaikuja" (2020), "Wandering Through Time" (2023), and "The Return of the Frozen Souls" (2024).
