Ancient Wargod
Ancient Wargod is a black metal band from Reinhardshagen near Kassel, Germany, originally formed in 1995 as a successor to the band Wargod, releasing two demos and the 1997 full-length When Darkness Rises before disbanding in 1998 after touring with Gorgoroth and Mystic Circle. The band's material has since been reissued, including a twenty-sixth anniversary edition of their album, preserving a snapshot of the mid-nineties German black metal underground.
