Althru is an experimental grindcore and death metal side project from Hamburg, Germany, formed by two-thirds of the band dxtxpxcxoxlxox, featuring A. on guitar, bass, taglharpa, and throat singing, N. on vocals and synth, and E. on drums. Their 2024 EP Nidar Effigy packs seven tracks into roughly twelve minutes of chaotic, dissonant extremity that blends avant-garde instrumentation with brutal death metal intensity.
