Alkonost
Alkonost has channeled pagan and folk metal from Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan since 2002. Named after the paradise bird of Slavic mythology, over two decades they have become one of Russia's best-known folk metal acts, drawing from the multinational cultural tapestry of the Volga-Ural region.
