Formed in Zomergem in 2005, Alkerdeel built their sound from partially improvised garage sessions using only guitar, drum, and voice recorded on tape — no bass. Their catalog runs from the raw sludge/black crushing of De Bollaf! (2008) and De Speenzalvinge (2010) through collaborations with Gnaw Their Tongues, to the stripped-down raw black metal of Slonk (2021) on Consouling Sounds.
