Akercocke
Akercocke erupted across the UK metal scene in the late 1990s, wielding a fiendishly inventive blend of death, black, and progressive metal while famously performing in suits. Named after a talking monkey in Robert Nye's Faust interpretation, their reunion album "Renaissance in Extremis" proved that London's most intellectually fearsome extreme metal band had lost none of their satanic sophistication.
